August, 2016 in Reily, Ohio started with typical heat and humidity.  There was a brief cool spell, as often happens during late August in Southwest Ohio.  There was a considerable amount of rain during the month, including some rain events with short periods of heavy rain.  There was also one wind event with exceedingly high wind gusts toward the end of the month.
