Two thousand eighteen and the month of January started off with a brutally cold spell in Reily, Ohio. There was a brief warm up and another cold spell lasting several days. There were several periods of rain throughout the month, with one having very significant winds. Two accumulating snow events also occurred in January, 2018, and with cold temperatures the snow lasted longer than is typical.
