October, 2018 started out hot and humid in SouthWest Ohio. The weather was more characteristic of a late July summer rather than early fall. Fall soon came with a very abrupt transition to atypically cold temperatures which largely remained through the rest of the month. Rain was also scattered through the end of the month with a couple events bringing considerable rain and much wind. This included an extended storm that brings the area into November.
