Spring turned to summer in Reily in May with more warm days than cool ones. There was a short cool spell in the middle of the month but it only lasted a few days. Typical for May, there was frequent rain, although there was not very much in the way of heavy rain or scary weather in SW Ohio. Hopefully there was enough rain to keep the baby trees just planted alive.
Unfortunately, the barometric sensor failed in the console of my Davis Vantage Vue. I've heard much about the legendary service of Davis. It was quite difficult to contact them - but eventually got them on the phone. Shortly after this they finally answered my email. I was surprised an email response was not faster. The console is now in California for repair. I pilfered data from a nearby station to keep my data up. I really hope I get my console back soon.
