October was seasonably fall in Reily, Ohio. This is often the nicest time of year in Southwest Ohio with warm days and cool nights. The middle of the month had a near record-setting stretch of cloudless days. This was flanked on either side by significant rain events leading to higher than average monthly precipitation (over 6.5 inches vs. approximately 3 inches on average). The rain storm at the end of the month also brought with it very high winds. This second significant storm brings us into the start of November and potentially the beginning of more winter-like weather.
