August, 2017 in Reily, Ohio was fairly typical. The month had considerable sun and lot of heat and humidity, especially in the first half of the month. Most of the rain cam from a few big rain events. The end of the month had some very cool days, as August often does. These were dry with very cool mornings as a reminder that fall is only a few weeks away.
August also had a solar eclipse which was partial in Reily, Ohio at about 90%. The dip in temperature associated with the moon eclipsing the sun can be seen in the weather station temperature data on Wunderground - click on the weather widget at the bottom and change the date to Ausut 21, 2017.
