After a December that was abnormally warm, January brought winter temperatures. This was accompanied by two snow events totaling a few inches. Along with the snow, there was a typical amount of rain and some high winds with winter storms. It should be noted, that much more severe winter weather was experienced both south and north of Southwest Ohio, including a paralyzing snow that went through Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.
